Reichel & Drews Expands Operations with New Office in Europe

Chicago, IL, April 2008 - Reichel & Drews Inc. a member of The RDI Group with headquarters in Itasca, Illinois, USA announces the opening of its new Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing office, Reichel & Drews GmbH in Baunach, Germany.

Through its acquisition of Rümmer System Engineering technology, Reichel & Drews GmbH has expanded its product line and engineering solutions for the production of bitumen roofing membranes. This product line expansion enables Reichel & Drews to provide advanced coating systems, mixing technologies and self-adhesive membrane production equipment to customers around the globe.

The new office will provide the European, Middle Eastern and African markets with innovative production systems and machinery for the manufacture of bitumen roofing and waterproofing products. It also enables Reichel & Drews GmbH to provide local support to supply and service bitumen roofing and asphalt shingle manufacturers with state-of-the-art technology, production equipment and control systems. The office is staffed with a team of highly skilled engineers, service technicians and sales staff with a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry.

Throughout its 105 years of history Reichel & Drews has established a reputation for providing superb customer service and innovatively designed production systems used to manufacture bitumen roofing membranes and shingle products.
